National Coming Out Day
October 11, 2018: Today is known as National Coming Out Day. The day is meant to celebrate the courage and bravery that it takes to open up about gender and sexual identities to friends and family members. Taft's Gender and Sexuality Alliance hung posters around main hallway detailing some of the gender and sexual identities that make up the LGBTQIA+ community.
